What is the Culture of Connection Summit about?
More than at any time in our human history, we are so accessible to one another, and yet, so disconnected. We’re experiencing a loneliness epidemic, and minorities are being pushed further and further to the fringes of society, creating more and more isolation. This Culture of Connection Summit is about building authentic relationships that last, where we feel seen and heard, our voices matter, and the impact on our communities is held together through our collective values and efforts.
Check out the “What You Can Look Forward To” section for additional details on the Summit Agenda.
How do we change?
We know we’re disconnected and isolated. We feel it! We also feel exhausted from attempting to do it all by ourselves. We know we’ve lost a sense of community, connection, and social nourishment, but… how do we actually create that in our lives?
It’s Time for a revolution
We recognize that the center of larger change is inseparable from personal & relational change.
At the Culture of Connection Summit, we are each encouraged to show up to cultivate and tend this space of reflection, grounding, and curiosity. We will be reminded to tap into our inner knowing and deeper wisdom.
This will be an opportunity to highlight where we are in relationship to others and where we may need deeper repair.
Our self-concept, healing, understanding, grief, struggles, and joys do not occur in isolation. We cannot self-help our way out of needing community. And gratefully, we don’t have to.
The African philosophy of Ubtunu roughly translates to “I am because we are.” This is the essence of what we are creating through this Culture of Connection Summit.
EVEN NOW, Change is possible.
The Creating a Culture of Connection Summit is about building relationships with ourselves, each other, and our greater community.
This is an interactive, hands-on learning experience open to everyone. We welcome all walks of life to exchange ideas, gather inspiration, garner support, and find each other long after the Summit is over to continue building lasting, REAL change in our communities.

At the very least, you will meet people, get a warm smile, hear some cool ideas, and have lunch.
At the most, you may make friends, connect with collaborators, find the people that really get you, learn some ideas about how to connect with yourself and others, definitely lunch, and you may just have some fun in the process.

We are requesting a flat fee of $50 per attendee. This will include one attendee ticket to the Summit and a sack lunch.
This is more about making a commitment to attending than a need. Gratefully, we have generous sponsors for the event to cover most of the costs associated with creating the Culture of Connection Summit. With that in mind, we want this to be accessible to everyone. If the financial commitment is a barrier to your attending, scholarships are available. Please email yourfriends@ebbandflowcooperative.com for more information.
All funds will be reinvested in possible future Summits.
