What is a free store?
A free store is like a thrift store, except everything is FREE! Shopping for the things we need and/or want is a liberating experience that allows for autonomy to find what we’re looking for. It removes the stigma of receiving donations and breaks down the hierarchical thinking of those who give and those who receive. Instead, we’re all participants in a community experience that benefits everyone. Plus, it’s fun!
Feel free to drop off clothes, unused and unopened hygiene products, backpacks, unused school supplies, children's and teens’ things, etc., to the Community Living Room during operational hours. Please visit our web page for hours of operation:
